Adam Rue, Product Manager at Idera

Career tech-junky Adam Reue (pronounced rČŻi - like boy) was born and raised in a tiny little town in Southeast Texas called Houston. He has been in the tech industry for over 2 decades filling roles spanning all the way from a desktop support technician, Systems and Network Administrator Team Lead, to QA Manager, Project Manager, and Product Manager for companies in both the software and cyber security sectors. Adam also used to run a guitar building and repair shop for several years where he built hundreds of custom guitars and repaired guitars of many local musicians and a few critically acclaimed touring guitar players.

When he is away from the office, Adam enjoys spending most of his time with his wife and 9-year-old daughter. As a family, they enjoy cooking, camping, fishing, tinkering with electronics projects, woodworking, running a crawfish cookoff team, listening to and creating music, and traveling. Adam suffers from a technology addiction, so any of his downtime in between the above-mentioned activities is spent learning new coding languages, staying up to date with the latest tech trends, and designing new and useful gadgets for his friends’ and family's amusement. Heather Vercillo, Enterprise PMM

Heather started out as a freelance clarinetist and saxophonist picking up every pit orchestra gig she could find. Life, and a desire for steady income, soon took her to a lubrication analysis laboratory where she spent 10 years in a variety of roles from Lab Technician to Software Development Manager to Marketing Manager. There, she discovered a love for understanding how the parts of a business interact with each other, driving remarkable customer experiences, and explaining a business solution’s value. Heather was able to combine these areas of interest through product marketing and is currently the Enterprise PMM for TestRail.

While Heather has focused on blazing her own career path through various roles, Heather and her family reside in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. She has a tween daughter that aspires to be an author and helps take care of the household dogs, guinea pigs, and frog. Heather makes use of her daughter’s unique perspective on the world to ensure content is understandable and interesting (and hopes her daughter learns something along the way). In her spare time, Heather enjoys participating on the board for The Contemporary Youth Orchestra, swimming in the neighborhood pool during warm weather, and playing in the snow during cold weather.
