What are Ministry of Testing Meetups?

Ministry of Testing meetups are regular free events run in collaboration with local partners.

Community is at the heart of everything we do at Ministry of Testing. As part of our existence is our commitment to supporting locally run meetups.

Connecting in real life can be life changing. It’s better for the planet than travelling long distances. And it helps you and software testers build a real supportive network.

What does it mean to be a Ministry of Testing host?

Ministry of Testing meetups are volunteer-led.

They require committed hosts to run them on a regular basis, research venues, find speakers, and partner up with local businesses to cover costs or provide space.

How do I know if my city already has a local chapter?

We have a page with a list of all existing Ministry of Testing meetups.

Don’t be disappointed if a meetup already exists, why not reach out to the organisers and offer your help? Meetup organisers are always looking for help and new friends!

How do I know if hosting is right for me?

Running meetups can be very rewarding, personally and professionally, but it comes with commitment.

It’s important you ask yourself the right questions:

  • Are you excited and passionate about all things software testing and quality assurance?
  • Do you want to help contribute to the advancement of our industry?
  • Do you aspire to hold a fun, creative, professional and safe space for others in the community?
  • Do you love shining light on others?
  • Do you believe your city needs a Ministry of Testing Meetup?
