Just going for it
17 Sep 2026
Last week, out of the blue, I received a friendly message from Helen T. She let me know she’d just signed up to a Professional Membership and is attending MoTaCon for the first time. How cool!
And earlier this evening I see Helen in person at MoT London. Double cool!
Super impressed that she’s just going for it. Triple cool!
We had a lovely chat with Shuk Tak Woo.
No doubt the three of us will bump into each other at MoTaCon.
Such is the joy of community.

Thank you for sharing this moment! I've saved it as my first moment with MoT :) Thank you Simon for recognising me and coming up for a chat too!

Thank you for sharing.
I must be in a completely different calendar being almost 1 month delayed in response.
I was good to catch up with you Simon and thank you for congratulating me on a new job. Barnett Waddingham was acquired by Howden with step by step integration, so is sort of new. If Any Howden IT in London, do ping, would love to meet.
Really nice to meet Helen T, wow! So much energy. I think I sponged some off and left with a bounce in my feet. It was fun to catch up at MoTaCon and pair up at workshop.
Look forward to seeing you all soon!
Helen T
Gosh.... I think I need that sponge of energy this week!
