Automated Atomic Tests With Java

Big things come in small packages. Who doesn't love a fast and focused unit test? Did you know we can also have fast and focused feedback from our Selenium e2e tests? Atomic e2e tests are those that are targeted and focused. They're tiny in scope but produce big results.

In this workshop, you will learn about automated atomic tests (AATs) and how you can code them. We will focus on the most common, the most annoying, and the most repetitive part of the e2e test. The Login. You will defeat the login and use Selenium to log in with cookies and JSON Web Token. Finally, we will perform a shopping cart checkout. You will set the app state without touching the UI. And will check out in an atomic manner.
