Leeds Meetup
MoT Leeds is back from our summer break with a timely event on becoming a generalist. With 80% of testers identifying as quality engineers, now is the perfect time to embark on your own learning journey to become a generalist quality engineer. We would like to welcome those who attend Test Up North to join us for more learning after what I'm sure will be a wonderful conference.
Agenda:
Welcome, MoT updates, and how to get a 10% discount on Pro membership and certificates.
Elevate your career: become a testing generalist
In this workshop, the hosts will walk through what a software testing generalist actually is. This will cover examples like Pi, Tree and Comb-shaped testers. Attendees will begin to understand that they have already begun the journey to being a generalist, but might not even know it.
Through a series of practical activities, the attendees will identify where in their journey they currently are. Create a plan of where they want to go and, crucially, how they will achieve their learning goals.
Guided by the Periodic Table of Testing visual heuristic and other resources, we will examine the testing universe and its various learning opportunities.
