When I do things I'm never really sure how well they will land.
The only way to know is to 'have a go'.
So, having a go I am.
A few weeks back I put out an offering for £99 TestBash tickets in return for 30 minutes to talk with me.
And honestly, it's been the best thing. I wasn't sure I could do it. Whether I could sustain the conversations. Whether I could ask the right questions. I started off with a list of potential questions to ask, but then I quickly binned it and went with the flow.
I would spend 2 minutes before a call looking up MoT and LinkedIn profiles, then ask questions based on my pure curiousity and my simple (yet hard) task of trying to serve MoT people better.
Here I am with Gianni. We were meant to meet last year, but life had different plans. It looks like it's going to happen this year!
I'm also channeling the simple art and science, that's it's good to talk.
I've been working in the software testing and quality engineering space since the year 2000 whilst also combining it with my love for education and community. It turns out quality, community and education go nicely hand in hand.
