AMA about project management (with a tester's hat)
27 Mar 2026
Hello, I'm Nadja 👋🏻
I started in IT as a part-time software tester 7 years ago.
For the last two years I have been working as a project manager for a small team of developers.
The client handles acceptance testing and we have no dedicated tester in our team, so I am often still wearing the tester's hat.
This brings challenges, but has helped me bridge the gaps between requirements engineering, development and user acceptance so many times already.
Ask me anything!

Glad you found your voice, Nadja. Here's my question.
How do you handle company and stakeholder needs that might impact product quality, for example, wanting to release before all risks are mitigated or having a lack of interest in usability or accessibility testing?
Simon Tomes
How can testers help project managers? And how can project managers help testers?
Gary Hawkes
You mentioned bridging the gaps. What gap have you successfully bridged or just improved that has brought the most benefit to your role?
