AMA Mobile Testing Answer: What’s the most interesting thing you’re exploring in mobile testing these days?

I had to think about it, but it's probably accessibility on mobile. I think we've all experienced companies trying to become WCAG compliant with webpages, but I don't see as much with native mobile apps. It got me to thinking about how are the users interacting with apps. What assistive tools are available for native apps? Is it similar to web? Is it different for tablets vs phones? I want to be able to follow the same process so that I can speak for the users better.
It's interesting because terminology has changed so much that "app" doesn't always mean a native app. One article was giving a list of testing methods for a mobile app and it included "Test on responsive windows on a desktop device" and "Test on a desktop device". Is this a mistake in the article? Or is there some gap in my knowledge?
I've just begun my investigation, so there's a lot more information to find!
Thanks for the question!
