In this moment:
Bug
I spent a week in beautiful Wales with the family.
But I couldn't keep Bug off my mind.
It's been an intense year and this was a much needed de-compression. I was holding it together, and now I feel like I can breathe.
MoTaCon, felt great. We made tweaks. Some things went better than others, but overall it's been such a positive experience.
We announced the new name and focus. We will continue to iterate. Testing will always be a core part of what we do, but quality is the overarching driver.
Memories in the MoTaverse came alive, it felt like a real social network, yet better, of course.
We have a goal to get to 404 items in this collection: https://www.ministryoftesting.com/collections/motacon-not-testbash-2025-software-testing-and-quality-engineering-conference
People have been awarding stars, on the day of the event and they continue to trickle in.
We announced that Professional Membership now includes in person events.
Behind the scenes the talks are currently being put live. We're onboarding teams to Professional (Standard and Unlimited) Memberships. We're prepping for our next round of virtual and in person events.
There's a lot of change happening, which we're very excited about. I feel like I can breathe now. Not because we are done, but more because I feel we are achieving a simpler, better and super competitive model.
We hope you'll join us.
And for now, I'm taking a deep breath, and getting back to doing the work. There is much to do.
