Storytelling helps us understand the true impact of an issue. Instead of asking "What's the impact of this?", ask "What's the true impact?"
Consider the example of someone who can't pay with their credit card in the supermarket checkout. Creates anxiety for the person trying to pay, a frustrated cashier, annoyed customers in the queue and the potential for the person trying to buy their groceries unable to feed their children for the week.
