I'm happy to share that I have successfully completed the course and passed the test for Software Testing Essentials (STEC). I wanted to be the first to be STEC Certified but someone else beat me to it!
I fully admit it's a bit strange having my name both on the certification and signed by me, but I'm not sure what to do about that one!
But I'm super proud to have contributed to STEC. It was years in the making, but ultimately it came down to the past 18 months of agreeing on an structure and then figuring out how and who to reach out to to produce the course.
59 people contributed to it.
My contributions were:
- believing it
- backing it
- funding it
- reviewing and contributing to the structure
- reviewing and giving feedback for every single module
- making memes about it
- keep talking about it
- STEC STEC STEC
Thanks to everyone who contributed, but a special thank you to those behind the scenes who have done much unseen work.
That's Sarah Deery, Simon Tomes, Ady Stokes and Andrew Morton.
We had a good chit-chat about STEC on TWiT last week, have a listen:
