It took me a while to get there but I finally finished STEC. Nice.

Even as someone who has worked in software quality for almost 10 years, there were plenty of great ideas and practical suggestions that I have taken away to try out. It was nice to have a refresher on the basics, too.

The thing that makes STEC stand out for me is that it was created by members of the software quality community who are doing the thing day in, day out. This provides a unique insight into the different appraoches that can be taken, and the variety of delivery styles and media formats definitely kept things interesting.

Also, it was nice to get 100% on the exam as I was second guessing myself on a few questions 😬

Time for SQEC, we go again!

Professional nuisance. I've got a knack for finding gaps in complex system integrations. I'm currently learning how to be an effective Quality Engineering leader, any advice would be much appreciated!
