Always good to hear Barry Ehigiator and Stu Day have a chat about anything (!) and this case I heard them chat about reporting in a quality engineering context.
Barry used the term "Risk Advisers" which I thought was a handy framing. And as Stu puts it:
Barry used the term "Risk Advisers" which I thought was a handy framing. And as Stu puts it:
Being risk advisors, but then also being really good story tellers. I don't mean making stories up, I mean taking those insights and being able to articulate really good stories that resonate with the stakeholders ... you're able to help drive and influence the decisions that need to be made.
The conversation will be available soon enough for those in the process of becoming SQEC qualified.
SQEC is the Software Quality Engineering Certificate and it's a must for anyone looking to level up their quality engineering skills and experience.
Thanks to folks like Barry and Stu for contributing their knowledge, skills and experience.
What things have you tried when telling risk-related insight stories?
