Wins of the week for 8th May
08 May 2026
Inspired by Melissa Fisher’s posts on LinkedIn, I suggested a 'Wins' TWiQ theme, and the episode was great. As promised, here are my wins I shared, and these will be going into a collection. Tag your wins-of-the-week, and I'll add them.
I awarded 220 stars last week. I didn't feel like I was on the site long enough to do that, but I was also catching up on past episodes of TWiQ and Software Testing Live, which you can now thank and mark as watched / listened to.
I am close to finishing the AI publishing assistant I am building. It helps me work through ideas, models and structures. I’ve created and am refining two new models. The continuous thought development model(name a work in progress), and a mindsets model. Am hoping to get some help on the visualisation from a human designer.
Closing in on 3,000 community stars. 2973 on my last look
On conferences, I'm speaking at BrowserStack's Breakpoint conference, which I recorded last week with Jenna Charlton as my host.
I've sponsored Leeds Testing Atelier, which is on Tuesday this week.

I'm speaking to a company on accessibility and about MoT on Thursday.
I sponsored Krys Catterall’s appeal for supporting assistance dogs. She is taking on a marathon-distance challenge through a mix of wheeling and walking to raise funds for Canine Allies’ future placement dogs programme. Find her post on LinkedIn
Not 1, not 2, but 3 Leeds Chapter events are now scheduled. Colin in May on how testing saved his side hustle. Summer social in July, and for September we have Adam Davis with his Testing what you can’t control workshop, where everyone joins in to create an environment with their phones, and then tests. Should be a lot of fun.
