Wow moments in the software testing essentials course

I remember something Ady said is that you can always learn something new from training courses at any level. I've got 2 ISTQB foundations certs and after achieving those 15 years ago, I've not really been interested in doing anymore after the flat response I had from recruiters. However, knowing the approach of the MoTaverse to certifications and feeling Ady's inspiration, I thought I'd just go for the testing essentials cert out of sheer curiosity. It is brilliant!! There are so many gems that once I'm done I'm going to re-read the material to pluck out some of those learnings on where I can apply them, before I go for the exam. The course is bigger than just getting a badge, there is real value in there.Β

To give you one learning right now, I'm on module 6 lesson 3 on techniques for risk analysis. Why did I not know about the Nightmare headlines game?! What a fantastic technique! πŸ‘

It needs a selfie to explain my feelings...even if I have a fan spinning on my head 😬
