Ministry of Testing wants to be by your side at every step of your career journey. We've done this through nurturing an active forum (The Club). Hosting conferences (TestBash). Publishing articles, talks and podcasts. And creating software testing certifications to help advance your career.

We also believe that being that place to bring you the opportunity is a much-needed part of a puzzle to complete. One such opportunity many of us need, especially now, is that to connect to work opportunities.

Introducing Open To Work: Where MoT Professional Members can mark themselves as ‘Open to Work’ so that employers and recruiters can easily search a database to find candidates for their open roles. Marking yourself as Open to Work makes it visible publicly for anyone to view.

Why it matters? The market is tough right now. Everyone needs a helping hand to find their next opportunity. Even in a buoyant market being easily visible and aligning yourself with a professional body will only support you to find new opportunities.

What's more…this is available to MoT Professional only. Our commitment to relevant and quality candidates is our top priority. We had done some experiments making it available to everyone and the spam started to creep in. We're a small team with limited capacity, making it available to MoT Professional members seemed like the most sensible decision.

The promise: This is the start as we continue to iterate and improve on this offering. We will be actively promoting Open To Work across all our communications. We will also soon be releasing other OpenTo options, stay tuned!

👉 To opt into Open To Work ensure you have an MoT Professional Membership go to MyMoT > Open To Work.
