The whole team needs to take responsibility for quality. This is a phrase I use frequently to mean that testers do not own quality. In reality, it should not be only the team that owns quality.
Testing for quality attributes is about fit and finish for your product. They are becoming more important as time passes. Customers expect more.
A model provides some kind of structure that gets people talking and have the different perspectives at it.
