Joe Colantonio

I'm Joe Colantonio, founder of TestGuild. I've spent more than 30 years in software testing, including a decade as a Test Automation Architect at GE Healthcare, before leaving corporate in 2019 to run TestGuild full-time.

What started as a blog in 2010 grew into the TestTalks podcast in 2014, then rebranded as TestGuild in 2019. TestGuild is home to the longest-running podcast in the testing space, where I've interviewed over 600 people in software testing and automation. Today, TestGuild is a vendor-neutral resource for testers and automation engineers, with a YouTube channel of 445K+ subscribers and a combined reach of over 500K across our platforms.

In 2016, I started Automation Guild, the first 100% online test automation conference, which I've run every year since. I've also authored "Automation Awesomeness," and I'm a Pluralsight author.

My background started in performance testing, and I still care a lot about that niche even though it doesn't get as much attention these days. When I'm not working on TestGuild, I'm usually out on my hobby farm in Oakdale, Tennessee.
