I began exploring programming and data during my BSc in Geography through an introduction to GIS. Following this, I earned an MSc in GIS from the University of Leeds. My career started as a QA engineer for a GIS software company, after which I served at the JNCC as a biodiversity data specialist. Relocating to Manchester, I joined BJSS as a test engineer, then a data engineer, with the explicit request that I advocate for quality throughout the team. I subsequently took a role as a data engineer in test at Dunelm which I'm thoroughly enjoying. My interests span machine learning and AI, the transformative potential of cloud computing, tech innovations (to my wallet's disdain), and a deep appreciation for animals and nature. Last but not least, I'm a theme park enthusiast with a love of rollercoasters and a good dark ride.
