We've seen alot!
I've been hosting Leading With Quality conversations. It's my first committed video podcast style series, this one being available to Professional Members only. We're trying to balance it out with known and unknown voices.
A big part of me loves this whole process, I get to meet up with people I've wanted to maintain contact with, but never quite had a strong enough excuse. It turns out hosting a podcast is a very good excuse to produce something for the community whilst also having a fun personal catch up.
And for those that I haven't personally met before, it's been equally special getting to know new people. I do hope that each conversation I host is the start of a long-term relationship.
I won't divulge too much about the actual episode, but today I got the chance to meet up with Anne-Marie Charrett. We go back many years! I even stumbled across a quality coaching mindmap that I created from a test coaching course we hosted via MoT back in 2013-ish. She's only recently published her book on quality coaching, which shows how some of these projects can literally take years to pull off.
Before I hit the record button we laughed at how we've been around the testing and quality space for a very long time.
"We've seen a lot" is what Anne-Marie said.
And that we have.
And because I feel I have tie these words into Leading With Quality somehow, sometimes leadership is about experiencing life, how things evolve, the ups and downs. There are some thngs that only life experiences can teach you.
What I love seeing is that we've stuck around and we genuinely still love and care for the testing space.
Anne-Marie, thanks for taking the time with me today, it helps keep me going!
