Changing the conversation changes the future

In TWiQ today, Aj raised the idea of self-service infrastructure and it got me thinking about how that is related to platform engineering. Something I realise I don't know enough about, but a recent conversation Abby Bangser has gotten me thinking and exploring how it should connect with quality and potentially change how we do and think about quality.

Talking about platform engineering with Abby led to some interesting terms for me, one is Thinest Viable Platform and the other is shift down.

But the point I latched on to is that these conversations are important. Thinking about how things like Platform Engineering can help us think differently about how to do quality. Simplifying our processes. Getting access to data which opens our minds to build better.

I knew it would be beneficial to have these bridge building conversations, moments like this make me realise how we can create the future with conversations. I'm excited to have these conversations as I believe they will lead to discovering better ways to do quality...and essentially creating a better future for all of us.
