I blame Ministry of Testing for this!
04 Feb 2026
I'm going to be speaking at LDX3 in June! This wouldn't be happening if it wasn't for Ash Winter, Diana Dromey, Melissa Fisher, Scout Burghardt, Simon Tomes and really MoT as a whole!
Before I took part in Testing Planet News at TestBash in 2024, I had pretty much decided I wasn't going to get into speaking at conferences, that I was happy just writing my blog. Then Ash recommended me as someone who could fill in for him when he had to step back from taking part in Testing Planet News. I said yes to Diana before I even really knew what I was saying yes too
The most surprising thing was, I enjoyed it. So I submitted a talk for TestBash 2025 MoTacon. Then I enjoyed that even more.
This year, as part of my own L&D plan, I decided to submit talks to not only MoTacon, but elsewhere too. I have been selective where I applied, and aimed high, as being a new parent I have limited capacity for conferences this year and wanted to make sure any conferences I speak at were ones I would look to attend even if I wasn't speaking.
That brings me to now. I'll be speaking at LDX3 about how modernising quality practices created a cycle of continuous improvement, transforming tools, processes, and culture.
