I was asked, “What has the #MoTaverse ever done for us?”

I was asked, “What has the #MoTaverse ever done for us?”

So I replied…

“You mean apart from publishing my articles, supporting my learning, giving me on‑demand courses and certificates to learn from and helping me build a substantial public profile?”

And then I took a deep breath because once you start listing what the Ministry of Testing has done, it becomes hard to know where to stop. I continued...

They are a global community that actually talks back, giving me feedback, encouragement, and the occasional meme.
There are masterclasses, talks, and conferences where even first‑time speakers get fully supported, encouraged and cheered.
There's access to a glossary so big it would be like dropping a giant weight on you from above.
I learn from people who are generous, curious, and occasionally obsessed with weird-looking bugs and ducks, sometimes from space. Oh, and seagulls for some reason.
Having a place where accessibility, neurodiversity, and kindness aren’t afterthoughts, they’re core values.
Helping me earn certificates, badges, and stars that prove I know what I’m doing and demonstrate my learning and community engagement.
I have a platform to share ideas, poems, silly songs, and testing wisdom without anyone calling the Spanish Inquisition.
Giving me a network through chapters, meetups, and events where I can actually meet quality humans who also test things for a living.
And giving me a sense of belonging.”

At this point, my fictional friend looked at me, slightly stunned.

So I added:

“Oh, and they make learning fun. Not ‘mandatory training’ fun. You come for the knowledge and stay for the career growth”

He paused, scratched his chin, and finally muttered:

“Alright, alright. But apart from all that. What has the MoTaverse ever done for us?”

I just smiled. "Everything!"
Because if you know, you know.
