That time I got the chance to be a speaker at one the legendary MoT London Meetups.

The photo shows Tom presenting his ideas on how established quality principles can be evolved to facilitate responsible AI development. Tom is standing on stage with a slide that shows a human hand and a robot hand making a heart. Around each hand are the key things that each brings:
Humans with emotional intelligence, ethics, and critical thinking.
AI with efficiency, speed, and automation.
A short story...
Three weeks ago, I uploaded a contribution abstract to the MoT website.
Two weeks ago, industrial action by underground staff caused a delay in the London Meetup 5.0.
A few days after the meetup was moved, Gary Shannon messaged me...
"Tom, do you remember the abstract you submitted? Well, I have a space on the re-scheduled event, do you fancy taking the slot?"
My response was, "Sure, why not!"
Five seconds later, the realisation strikes that I have just committed to something I am not prepared for. After much procrastination, work began on preparing my talk.
Less than 1 week ago I stood up on stage and did my first talk at a MoT Meetup.
What an incredible experience and a memory that I will not forget soon!

Love it. These things happen for a reason, my friend. Bug congrats!

It actually shows the work that goes on behind the scenes to make things a reality, from you, from Gary, from TeamMoT. Often invisible glue work.
