In the MoTaverse, our Ambassadors are MoTivated and trusted members of our community, who understand and represent the MoT vision, values and ethos, and have the community at heart in everything they do.Β

They are passionate professionals who actively contribute by sharing knowledge, organising events or fostering connections among testers worldwide. Through their dedication, our MoT Ambassadors inspire others to engage, learn and grow within the testing community.

  1. What is the role of a Ministry of Testing Ambassador?
    MoT Ambassadors are volunteers who represent the Ministry of Testing within their local and global communities. They can organise meetups, share insights, mentor fellow testers and promote the values, and initiatives of the MoTaverse, to advance the software testing profession.
  2. How can I become an MoT Ambassador?
    You need to apply by January 25th. Being an active member of MoT is required and your MoT Profile should reflect this. We will make decisions based on your MoT Profile.
  3. What support do Ambassadors receive from the Ministry of Testing?
    Ambassadors receive support in various forms, as with all things in the MoTaverse, it depends on the person and what we have going on at the time. There will be a private Slack channel for conversations, support and opportunities. All opportunities are opt-in.
  4. What benefits are there for being an Ambassador?
    Being in the midst of the MoTaverse, networking and building up your confidence to support your future career and portfolio. You'll get a digital badge for your MoT profile and we will also unlock Unlimited Membership.
