Location, themed and branded Chapters are here and growing

In case you missed it, we now have Chapters in the MoTaverse. These have been building over the past few months as we transition away from Meetup.

What are MoTaverse Chapters? They are micro-communities within the MoTaverse. People can join them. Host and record events. Add content. And chat within dedicated Chapter Slack channels.

Why should I consider leading a Chapter? They are a great way to build leadership skills, learn socially and build an essential network for your personal career growth.

What kind of Chapters can I create? Previously, we only had location based chapters, but now we are expanding to theme and brand based chapters.

Here are some examples:

View full Chapter list.

Who can attend a Chapter? Anyone. They are free to attend. And volunteer led as speakers and leaders.

Who can lead a Chapter? A Professional Membership is required to lead a Chapter. For brands, a Partner membership is required.

Can a Chapter have multiple leaders? Yes, and we highly recommend it as a strategy to share the load and make tech friends.

Why are there Chapters with no leaders? We believe certain theme chapters need to exist, we're helping them get started and trust leaders will appear.

Are Chapter recordings available? It depends on the Chapter. Upon request, we can provide the tech set up to help you host an event. We will then provide the recording for free access to anyone with a MoTaverse account.

Can I join as a leader to an existing Chapter? Yes. You will need to reach out the current Chapter leaders to enquire about the possibility.

I have a question. Great. Email hello@ministryoftesting.com
