For the past 18 months, the MoTaverse has been exploring what quality engineering means for the future of technology and building software products. We started by exploring through some online events related to quality coaching, systems thinking and quality engineering. The deeper we went, the more it clicked.
“I’ve seen more quality engineering roles available than tester roles! What does that mean for my career?”
“How is my role as a test analyst/engineer evolving? How do I keep up?”
“My boss tells me that we should all become quality engineers? Isn’t that just a title change? How does it fit in with how I do testing?”
Yes, sure, we're shifting left, but the change is much bigger than that. We're shifting to quality engineering. It's not just a superficial name title change. There is real value and change in approaching quality in a modern way.
We created a Software Quality Engineering Certificate (SQEC): It's no small feat to gather and produce a comprehensive certification. The idea seems easy, but pulling it together took a huge investment from the MoTaverse. The result was the collaboration with 39 people from the MoTaverse to gather the most comprehensive and latest ideas on Quality Engineering.
The goal is for tech professionals to feel confident in shipping quality products. This certification will guide you through everything you need to know. Your guides are members of the MoTaverse who are actively practising quality engineering principles.
🏆 Get SQEC qualified. The Software Quality Engineering Certificate is available to purchase on its own, or it comes bundled with Unlimited Membership.
