Who might you buddy up with this week?

There is a buddy waiting for you somewhere. A buddy who can go on a testing journey with you. Someone in the community who might be facing similar challenges. Someone who is open to sharing and learning with you.

I was fortunate last week to connect two people. They are both looking to speak at TestBash UK, seeking help with creating an abstract and advice about speaking at conferences. They are now "abstract buddies"! Check out all the Call to Speak opportunities.

Along with TestBash UK, we're excited to announce the lineup for TestBash Mobile. I have a bias toward open conversations so I look forward to the discussion with Piotr, Julia and Vikrant. And I have a good feeling about the Ask Me Anything with Maaike Brinkhof.

And with all the TestBashes going on it was lovely to read a positive review of TestBash X Brighton. Thanks for sharing, Gita! "If you need testing motivation, want to find like-minded people or just want to have fun, attend the next TestBash and join in." 😀 There's a good opportunity to experience similar given TestBash X Edinburgh has the same setup. You can still grab a ticket.

🎧  Our annual partners continue to support the community. Kristof talks to Darrel Farris from mabl about the shift to quality engineering and how testing teams are adapting. And feel free to meet the team behind Sauce Labs. 🤝

Thank you to those who took the time to share your sentiment via the Belong-O-Meter. 34 responses! I'll endeavour to publish the (anonymous) results at some point in the future. For those who shared your details, I'll be in touch to set up a call by the end of the month. I very much look forward to learning what's important along with some of the challenges you face – and how the community may support you.

And do let me know if a buddy would help. I'll do my best to see if I can help you make a connection.

Have a good week!
