Hey! I'm Alex, part of the MoT team, working on Events, Community, and Socials. Also a singer, DJ, and video nerd—when I’m not hyping meetups, I’m making noise somewhere. Let’s build!

About the talk:As Large Language Models (LLMs) become integral to modern applications, software testers must adapt their strategies to assess these AI-driven systems effectively. This talk explores the unique challenges of testing LLM-based applications, including their probabilistic nature, hallucinations, bias, and prompt sensitivity.
We will discuss key capabilities and risks that testers should focus on, methodologies for designing robust evaluation frameworks, and automation techniques to streamline testing. Attendees will also learn how to leverage LLMs as judges for qualitative assessments and explore tools that support scalable, systematic testing. Whether you're new to AI testing or looking to enhance your approach, this session will equip you with practical insights to ensure the reliability and fairness of LLM-based applications.
awarded Katja Meyer for:
Ministry of Testing Munichfrom the meetup page : From Painful to Productive: Making test environments work for everyoneby Katja Meyer (Teamlead Testing @QualityMinds)
Abstract:When was the last time you’ve struggled with the environment management in your project? For me, this has been among the top three of my pain points during the last years. And this pain ranges from someone changing an environment’s configuration without telling anyone to someone using up all the test data without resetting it or environments simply not being available when I need them.In my current project we decided to transform the test environment in the regulated context of the financial sector and introduced DevOps culture and practices. I’m going to illustrate our starting point and the steps taken to achieve on-demand environments for everyone. Join me on our journey from mainframe architecture to containerization and infrastructure as code!
