Garai...wow that works 👍
Asymmetry of criteria image
I learned years ago is that "judgement" and "understanding" are mutually exclusive. The people that make judgements are missing pieces of the truth, from what they observe. It can be instinctive to fill in the gaps of those missing pieces so you can complete a picture, that validates a comfortable narrative. It's very hard work to clear your mind and take the time to understand a persons motives or the truth behind an outcome to complete the picture with full understanding.

Quality people are truth tellers image
I really enjoyed watching you both riff off each other. I'd like to see more conversations like that were people are just connecting organically. Great fun, thank you both! 🙏

Fascinating chat, you hit so much on navigating management psychology. You should talk more....and sing 😁
Lean testing under pressure: How small teams deliver high-impact quality in highly constrained environments image
This...is...GOLD! Thanks so much for writing this comprehensive article. The good thing I can see is that we're are moving in the right direction in this model, as we're working in stage 3 right now. Moving between the stages can be a volatile in/out shuffle as you start to look at the next stage, do small experiments and fail, learn and go again. Keeping this article in a safe place as I'll be referring to it. 🙏
The occupational hazard of being a tester image
Love the word, but I won't use it in front of you in case I mispronounce it and say something else by accident! 😂 I hate to enflame the stereotype of testers, but I do have a gift at noticing spelling mistakes fairly instantly usually relating to journalism, window signs, menus etc. and I will rudely interrupt anyone thats speaking to me to flag it 😬. I'm always exploratory testing and looking for patterns of behaviour. Proud to be beroepsmisvorming!
To grow your influence, you might have to drop 'quality' from your title image

Thank you both Adam and Judy, really appreciate it. 🙏
The forgotten part of quality: paying attention to production image
Great article Stuart. 👏 Keeping this as a reference as I'm in the process of influencing a project team to consider observability as part of their ideation and story definition
