My main aim is to help software testers turn their vast knowledge and skills into bite-sized chunks suitable for the community to digest.

I've been working in professional software development for more than 10 years now. I love to write working software and I hate fixing bugs. Hence I developed a strong focus on test automation, continuous delivery/deployment and agile principals. Since 2014 I work at digital as a software engineer and since 2018 as quality engineer. As such my main objective is to support our development teams in QA and test automation to empower them to write awesome bug-free software fast.

Tania comes from a family of testers and has been passionate about testing and QA for most of her life (family gatherings are always an interesting affair). Throughout her career Tania has worked with a variety of industries, companies and systems; from sole tester to lead tester, test manager and test consultant. Tania is passionate about all things agile and is a certified scrum master and agile champion. In the spare time she has left, after raising 2 little ones, Tania is an avid gamer and D&D player. After years of attending training and testing events, Tania now wants to give something back to the Testing community, by getting more involved in talks, events, blogs and podcasts.

Originally from Portugal but call Manchester UK my home. I love meeting people, hosting friends and family, snowboarding, food, binge-watching sci-fi TV shows, photography, my son and life itself!
