Petros Plakogiannis lives in Greece. He has graduated from the University of Piraeus and the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. He has been working professionally as a software tester since 2009, with a strong focus on automated testing using various tools like QTP, Selenium, Protractor, Cypress, etc. He also has significant experience in white box testing, application testing (desktop, web, and mobile), and security testing. He travels a lot and supports customers onsite by providing information regarding automation testing. He is also a Cypress Ambassador and the main organizer of the Ministry of Testing Athens meetups, and he is very active in the testing community

With a cynical view that can only be honed through years of "experience" I enjoy learning and sharing ideas on ways to the quality and delivery of teams. Big idea, small ideas, good ones, bad ones. They are all worth discussing. Being an equal-opportunist and a great believer in serendipity in learning nothing is out of scope.

I am someone who is passionate about testing and approaches testing with a holistic view. I have over 17 years of experience in the IT industry, working as a tester, developer and a trainer. I believe in the power of people and collaborating to build a safe environment where the teams can thrive and work on creating great software. I enjoy teaching and getting involved in community activities like speaking at conferences, delivering workshops. I am one of the tutors in the Coders Guild and a core member of Synapse QA-a testing community. Also, a keen advocate of Women in Tech initiatives and a global ambassador! When I am not working, I love spending time with my kids and enjoy writing short stories.

I am a traveller (not necessarily in a geographical sense) who seeks, observes﹠occasionally finds. I'm also a tester, survived cancer, live near the seaside and go open water and winter swimming.
