Hi. I am Thomas Shipley and I work in Quality Advocacy. My career is focused on understanding what others in a team are doing. The impact of planned work, managing the expectations of stakeholders and analysing development changes. By asking questions of a team I can better understand the impacts of these changes. Understanding more I begin to coach teams. Sharing my expertise in testing with the team so they can start thinking more like testers themselves. I mentor, pair, persuade and promote towards my goal of shared quality ownership. Sometimes this is challenging but often worth it!

I test everything and hold on to what is good and try to get what is bad abstained.

I'm a Quality Engineer currently working for Dutch Railways - no trains though, I work on the bike sharing team!

Samuel Nitsche is a curiosity-driven software developer who programs, learns and collaborates in the software trade since the early 2000s. He works as Senior Software Developer and trainer at Smart Enterprise Solutions GmbH. His main interest is on modern database development, automated testing and code quality, topics he writes regularly about on different platforms (e.g. his blog https://developer-sam.de, Simple-Talk and several Oracle-related print magazines). He is an Oracle ACE, one of the main contributors and maintainers of utPLSQL (http://utplsql.org) and loves to share his experience in an entertaining way - gladly in Sith robes - at meetups and conferences.

Senior Director of Technology Strategy at Sauce Labs, where he uses experience from 20+ years in test to manage strategic technical alliances. Within the CTO Office, Marcus works with partners to build robust, customer-centric solutions around test automation, release management, and the entire SDLC. He started using Selenium/WebDriver in 2007, contributes to the Selenium project, and chairs the Selenium Conference Organizing Committee.

I am a vibrant, motivated and committed individual. I have been in the testing industry now for over 7 years. It's been a great experience learning and sharing skills. I aim to broaden my knowledge further more. Data science is what I am currently focusing on, and it's very exciting to see all the new things one could learn out of it and merge it with testing. Definitely quite interesting!
