Thomas is a Freelance Graphic Designer based in Leeds. He’s been DesignBoss at Ministry of Testing for close to 10 years, overseeing all things visual. Having previously studied Journalism at Leeds University, he then went on to work at Saatchi & Saatchi in London where he honed his skills in visual marketing. When not flicking through fonts and colour charts, Thomas can usually be found in the kitchen whipping up something tasty with a glass in-hand, and a spaniel by his side.

I believe in putting the team and people first, work with them and prosper. Conway's law doesn't only apply to the software but also people and your quality will be as robust as how we deal with communications and soft skills. I am an efficient communicator who welcomes feedback and never reach the point of not learning more. I am experienced in both Kanban and Scrum in an Agile environment and familiar with Waterfall, although I am not a fan. I am a driver and advocate for pair and mob programming and testing and have introduced and maintain it in multiple teams and encouraged all team members to contribute and communicate and consider quality as early as possible, utilise CI/CD and remove silos of knowledge. Besides allocated team/product work, I am also Subject matter expert on Accessibility, Agile delivery/Ways of Working, SoX and GDPR. I am also an experienced public speaker and mentor and acted as ‘Ethics Ambassador’.
