Rina is the CEO of RadBee, where she helps regulated engineering teams run on Atlassian tools without giving up their release cadence. Most of her work is with organisations doing two difficult things at once: adopting DevOps practices, and satisfying an auditor. Marrying FDA requirements with a fluent release cadence takes insight, skill and perseverance.

A lot of that work is migration. Rina has moved large legacy ALM datasets into Jira, requirements, specifications, tests and the links between them, so the traceability survives the move and the hierarchy the old system enforced can be replicated in Jira rather than flattened to fit it. The technical side she treats as a scripting problem, and one that has got dramatically easier in the last two years.

She came to this from inside the industry. Before founding RadBee she co-founded a medical devices company, where she implemented an ISO 13485 quality system and made submissions to regulators in Europe and the United States. She has done the sweating: the evidence requests that arrive on somebody else's schedule, the traceability that has to hold up when a stranger reads it. She cannot make the regulatory beast go away, but she knows how to tame it.

That experience is why RadBee builds Snapshots, an app that captures Jira and Xray data exactly as it stands, into reports in Confluence that anybody can read without a test tool licence.

Rina is a certified Xray expert and a certified Atlassian expert, and she writes and speaks regularly about compliance and about what Jira and Confluence can genuinely do for teams who have to prove their work.
