Video of a white woman, curly yellow hair, blue eyes, in a home office talking to the camera face on.
Realised from listening to this week in testing, being in various meetups and conferences this year - a handy wee tip. Hope it helps.
What advice would you give to someone about to join a team as the first dedicated tester? image
Joining a product team without prior dedicated testers can be challenging.

A "tester walks into a bar" meme shows three people smiling. The person on the left, wearing a black cap and an orange-brown jacket, has a beard and glasses, and is giving a thumbs-up. They are holding a small red box of Tic Tacs, and in front of them is a larger box of Tic Tacs. The two people to their right are partially visible, also smiling. The meme's text reads: "A TESTER WALKS INTO A BAR ORDERS A ROUND AND ENJOYS A DRINK WITH FRIENDS NOTHING BLOWS UP AND THE HAPPY PATH IS TESTED".

Classic words from Ben Dowen during an episode of This Week in Testing.

Below the quote, aligned to the right, is "- Nicola Sedgwick". In the lower left corner is a cartoon brain wearing glasses and a bowtie, with two black circles below for eyes. In the upper right corner is a logo for Ministry of Testing.
Nicola Sedgwick shared these wise words during a TestBash talk in Brighton in 2016. And Rosie Sherry recently reminded us that "At the he...
