A photo of four attendees from TestBash at OHSO Social venue. They are looking very merry and smiling at the camera. It was getting late. Rosie in particular felt very relieved the end was close.
It was quacking! And we ended up talking about ducks. Ducking The Trends. Quack, quack, quack...
A still from the film Star Wars Episode 4. An old man with a white beard and brown cloak called Obi-Wan Kenobi holds his hand out and looks very serious. There are two robot characters behind him as they sit on a transport speeder. Text: These aren't the bugs you were looking for

How many times have we run a testing session to discover a bug we just had no intention of or idea that we might discover it? The joys of testing, right? Some of my favourites are when you're retesting a bug fix and another bug pops up to say hi. Hello little bug! There have also been times in my career when I've worked with a developer who was so good at convincing me that I hadn't discovered a bug. It was a real Jedi skill. I'd walk back to my desk, confused and convinced it was a bug whilst also questioning my testing skills.

A photo of a very big yellow plushie duck with a name tag that says "My name is Rosie Sherry".
Just so it's clear. This is not Rosie Sherry.
It’s worth looking at things twice, even trice.

This morning when I was reading The testing planet newspaper more thoroughly I realised there is an excerpt of my article on the front page. Not only there is an article in the issue, it’s also featured on the front page. Big boost of pride on Monday morning.

Thank you so much Ministry of Testing. You keep making me happy every time I interact with you.

A hard back notebook painted by myself with paint pens.

The back cover is black with a MoT planet logo. The binding says Rosie with rainbow colours in the background. The front has a blue sky and 3 white clouds.

Here we have a solo attendee dropping by the photo booth. They have a mug in hand and are flashing a comforting smile to the camera. They have a coat and bag on which makes us feel like they have either just arrived or popped into the photobooth on their way out. They have short curly hair, a beard, and wear a zip up jacket with a back pack on their back.

Background: The green screen backdrop depicts a simple illustrated outer space scene. The main colour is purple, with cute stars and planets in shades of pink, blue, and white. About a third of the way down the screen, a logo appears. It reads "Ministry of Testing" in bold white text with a blue shooting star behind it. Next to the text, in the same bold white style, is a line drawing of the planet Saturn.

Here we are getting thumbs up from 3/4 TestBash 2024 attendees in the photobooth. We have a mixture of silly accessories making an appearance in this photo. From a gold tinsel wig, to glasses on a stick, to pink zebra print hats, moustaches on a stick and colourful pretend glasses. This picture is full of energy and excellent vibes, and we see that from the expressions and gestures given at this moment. They are also kind of in heigh order too from left to right, whether or not they meant to be, it looks pretty good in the picture.

In this picture we have 5 attendees of Testbash 2024 occupying the photobooth. 4 have silly accessories on like cut out glasses, animal print hats, and one has a hat on a stick too! The one attendee without any silly decoration has their hands on their head and is looking with bewilderment at the camera. The others have a mixture of poses like thumbs up, 'rock on' sign, and general smiles on their faces.

Here we have a solo photo booth entry from a TestBash 2024 attendee. They are wearing a green hoody with a checkered shirt underneath and have a silly green leopard print hat on their head. They have their hands in their pockets and are looking at the camera.

Here we have two attendees of TestBash 2024 in the photobooth. Both have big coats on and both have their hair in a ponytail. They are leaning in towards each other, and look like good friends. They also are holding accessories on sticks with smiles on their faces. One attendee's stick has the Ministry of Testing space duck on the end of it, and the other has the duck too but layered on top of some silly decorative glasses. One attendee is wearing non-silly and very real reading glasses, and the other isn't.
