Training the Testing Eye 👁️⚙️

A first-person perspective of a desk setup featuring the TestSphere testing card game. The dark green box stands open behind five colorful cards fanned out horizontally. From left to right, the cards are light blue (Operations), pink (Familiarity), purple (Bored), green (Requirements), and orange (Interruption). Each card contains numbered heuristics and testing prompts. The background shows a blurred keyboard and mousepad.

Found a quiet moment between projects to break out the TestSphere deck. It’s a great way to step back from the "how" of testing and remember the "why." Looking at cards like Interruption and Requirements (Re)engineering is the perfect mental warmup before the next project kicks off.

I am here to confess in this safe space that I never played TestSphere. Next time I see it around, I will give it a go.

I've never played it either and have genuinely just used it for personal reading and reminders. Maybe we can do that at a Chapter Meeting or virtually -https://www.ministryoftesting.com/insights/testsphere-digital
