Just get out there

I'm often guilty of not doing the thing to explore, when that's just the thing we need to nudge us on our way.

Sometimes we think the solution, or the thing to do is to far away, or out of reach. When really we just need to take that step outside and do the thing. It will seem like too much. Like you don't have time for it. Like the pressures of life are just too much.

Whatever it is, just go for it.

Today I went on a walk with some of the family. It's a tiny thing. Nothing special about it really. It was a different location that I had been meaning to do for ages. And today I made it happen (actually full credit to my husband). Now I have regrets of not doing it earlier, but still totally happy that I did it and felt all the positive emotions of appreciating where I live. Right here, right now.

PS. Sidenote that this is also an excuse to write something about the photos I take, it feels good, reflecting on life, with real photos and words. No AI used in the making of this post, which is something I've been pondering too, after reading more people giving up on LinkedIn and stating research that 41% of content created there is AI generated. And I'm just here, creating my own world to live in that doesn't look like that.
