Promise served :) met the moT ambassador in the pink city, Jaipur, India !

Today I had the joy of meeting MOT Ambassador Rahul Parwal and his family in the very same city where I grew up. It felt incredibly special to reconnect here, in a place that holds so many memories from my childhood.

Our connection actually began last year at MOTacon 2025 in Brighton, where I met Rahul and his wife for the first time. That evening, while I was navigating the uncertainty of job hunting, they welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. We had long conversations about technology, data, and the evolving world around us. Somewhere in the middle of those discussions, we discovered that we came from the same city. Instantly, the conversation turned more personal — sharing stories about our childhoods, upbringing, and the roots that shaped us.

Before we parted ways that night, we promised that whenever I returned to India to visit family and friends, I would make time to meet them again.

True to that promise, during this trip — despite everyone's busy schedules — Rahul and his family were incredibly generous and flexible in arranging time to meet. My husband and I were welcomed so warmly into their home. They treated us not as guests, but as family.

Rahul is not only an ambassador but someone I deeply admire as a guide and mentor. Their kindness, generosity, and genuine warmth made this moment unforgettable.

This is a memory I will always carry close to my heart.
