Santhiya Gurusamy
Hi, I'm Santhiya Gurusamy π, a QA Manager and QA Lead with close to 10 years of experience in software quality assurance across SaaS and Banking domains, based in Coimbatore, India.
I started my QA journey at HCL Technologies working on USAA Bank β one of the largest US financial institutions β where I gained hands-on experience in manual testing, Selenium automation, and Agile practices in a highly regulated BFSI environment.
At CΒ²Perform, a SaaS-based performance management platform, I built the QA function from scratch β growing from QA Analyst to QA Manager, scaling the team from 1 to 10 members across a fully remote, globally distributed setup spanning the US, Canada, Caribbean and India.
What I love about QA:
πΉ Building scalable processes and automation frameworks from the ground up
πΉ Mentoring and growing QA teams β watching junior QAs gain confidence is genuinely rewarding
πΉ Representing quality at the leadership level β making QA a strategic voice, not just a checkbox
πΉ Staying curious β currently exploring AI-driven QA practices and Playwright automation
Key areas I work in:
β
Test strategy & planning
β
Playwright automation (TypeScript/JS)
β
API & database testing
β
Release management & go/no-go decisions
β
Remote team leadership & stakeholder communication
I'm currently open to QA Lead or QA Manager opportunities β fully remote or Coimbatore based.
Always happy to connect, share experiences, and learn from this amazing community! π"

Here are a few ways you can help them get started:-
Tag them in a Moment. Think of a Moment as a blog post. Mention
in one of yours so they see they're already part of the conversation. - Invite them to an Event. There are plenty of online and in-person events to choose from. A shared event is an easy way to connect.
- Credit them in The Observatory. Share a link they pointed you to, or one they'd value. A small nod goes a long way.
- Suggest they comment on a Session, Moment or Insight. Commenting is a good way to find your voice. Give them a reason to jump in.
- Point them to the Glossary. Suggest a term they could add, or their take on one. Everyone has an interpretation worth sharing.
- Bring them into a Chapter. These are topic and location-based spaces for members to gather. Help them find their people.
