There are many things in common between community, quality and learning in general.
Simon Tomes pointed out this quote from Elizabeth Zagroba:
"As a lead, I need to be an information spreader, not an information hoarder. I need to be planting seeds around the department for ideas to bloom and grow. My goal is not to know everything, but to be sure that, for anything I know, the correct other people also know it."

This got me thinking about how we share in community, or perhaps more specifically in the MoTaverse.
We have conversations. We post memories. We write articles. We do talks. Podcasts. Share links (in the Observatory). Commit to maintaining a community glossary. Share insights. Mingle and share in Slack. There is the Club.
These are all ways to spread information.
Along the way we turn it into more tangible things like Chapter, MoTaCon, course or certification programs.
It's not just what we do, it's also how we do it, as much as possible with positivity and care.
It is all interconnected, but at the heart of it is the commitment to information as a thing that connects us. Along the way, other positive things, but the information is the glue and it's a valid way of learning...which we're also building into the MoTaverse platform. It feels good to reward the spreading of information.
Phew, that feels like alot. But it's all connected with the purpose of doing a better job withing our quality roles.
It's important to share, it looks easy, but it takes effort, care and commitment. The long term outcomes do and will become visible too.
At the end of the day, having access to more information helps us understand the system better. Quality and community is all about understanding the systems.
