Are You Ready To Take The Test.Bash(); 2022 Challenges? image

Test.bash(); 2022 is coming on October 20th 2022 and we want to make it the biggest testing tool awareness conference there has ever been, packed with challenges, demonstrations, talks, discussions and much more.

Our vision for Test.bash(); includes:

  • Introducing the audience to as many test tools as possible, so as to provide as many options to teams as possible when it comes to solving their testing-related problems.

  • Demonstrations centred around hands-on challenges, to not just introduce the audience to a testing tool, but also show how to utilise it and share experiences.

To achieve this we’ve created a set of challenges that can be solved with automation, giving you an opportunity to flex existing automation skills, but also providing some framing to learn something new.

What Are We Looking For

We are looking for pre-recorded video demonstrations showcasing your solution(s) to our challenges. Think of them as a demo, a walk through, where you share your approach, the tooling, a demo and anything else you believe is worth sharing. We’d also be interested in hearing experience reports where you were unable to complete a challenge, but learnt something along the way.

  • Maximum 20 minutes

  • A working demo of your solution / tool, if you have one

  • A list of the tools/frameworks used in your solution

  • Tips and tricks you’d like to share

  • Any hurdles you overcame, plus any still outstanding

With the focus of the conference being on tool awareness we are seeking to see as many tools as possible, so bear that in mind when deciding your tooling. We are looking for 100 challenge demos spread across four different challenge tracks (so 25 per track). If we receive more than 100 submissions, we’ll be accepting demos based on tool uniqueness.  We’ll be showing 3 demos for each challenge live on the main stage of the conference, and the remaining demos will be made available on-demand during the conference. All recordings will be added to the Ministry of Testing platform post the conference.

What Are The Challenges?

We have four different challenges that you can take part in that focus on different sets of automation tools: UI, Visual, API and Data Management. Click on the links for each challenge to learn more:

What you will get

For each accepted challenge demo the speaker(s) will be entitled to:

  • £100 fee

  • Conference access
