I recently discovered UI Design Tips for Landing Pages by Jim Raptis and reflect that it's a useful tool to inspire test ideas for anyone who tests web, mobile, or desktop apps. I actually can't remember how I stumbled across it yet I think it was a suggestion from Twitter.
This got me thinking, what places beyond the testing community are out there that could help us? What might we do to go beyond "our world" to discover useful heuristics and oracles to enhance how we test? I find it interesting to look at what goes on outside of an imaginary boundary or industry to apply it to an existing context.
What place might you explore today to be inspired by something outside of your current context?
