My name is Drew, and I help communities succeed. I currently work in Manchester for PwC as Head of Social Learning, and lead our Communities of Practice Enablement team
Erik has over 16 years of experience in and around software testing. He been a tester, team lead, manager, and senior manager of testers. Erik built and ran an automation team, led a test education team, and has helped multiple companies find, recruit, and develop testers. Erik currently works as a Lead Test Engineer at OnShift, helping to build and grow their testing practice and team.
Patrick has over 15 years of experience in software testing. After working for 10 years in the same big project but in nearly every role there was from tester to test manager, he became test team lead for a small team in a product and consulting company for the automotive industry dealing with projects all over the globe. For more than two years now he is working as a test consultant for QualityMinds supporting different clients with his hands-on experience. In 2017 Patrick organized the first TestBash in Munich, and retired from that job immediately after. Patrick is living outside of Munich, Germany. In his little spare time he continually tries to improve his skills as wood turner and carpenter.

Omose Ogala is a recent Computer Engineering graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He now works as a Software Engineer in Test at Twitter, where he develops test automation scripts for the company’s iOS and Android apps. In his spare time, Omose creates iOS apps for the company he founded, Ogala Apps, which currently has eight offerings available in the App Store.
Avalon McRae is a full stack software developer current working at ThoughtWorks, based out of New York, NY. She has worked in a variety of languages including JavaScript, Groovy, Java, and Kotlin, and is currently doing React/redux and Kotlin. She is passionate about automated testing (particularly TDD) and supporting and mentoring women in technology. Before ThoughtWorks, Avalon studied computer science and economics at Dartmouth College.
Principle Lead - Product & Delivery (Digital)

Tracey has been a software tester for over ten years. During that time she has specialised in the testing of clinical software including Patient Administration Systems (PAS), Electronic Patient Record Systems (EPR), Clinical Decision Support and Primary Care software in the UK public sector.

José started his professional career as a test engineer at Cambridge-based Redgate Software, and has always been an advocate of quality.

Last year he became a quality coach in the hope of spreading the lessons he’d learned to the various product teams and software engineers.

He spends his time studying software testing related topics and working with different teams and individuals around the business.

I'm a British software tester based in Sydney, Australia with about 10 years of experience testing in financial services, digital media and energy consultancy. I am a co-chair, social media officer and an occasional speaker at the Sydney Testers Meetup Group along with speaking at other conferences in Australia. The Principal Test Architect for Quest Software, based in Melbourne, Australia, Lee Hawkins is responsible for testing direction and strategy across their Information Management business. In the IT industry since 1996 in both development and testing roles, Lee’s testing career really started in 2007 after attending Rapid Software Testing with Michael Bolton. Lee was the cofounder of the TEAM meetup group in Melbourne and co-organized the Australian Testing Days 2016 conference. He is a co-founder of the EPIC Testability Academy, a software testing training programme for young adults on the autism spectrum. Lee was the Program Chair for the CASTx18 testing conference in Melbourne. He is a frequent speaker at international testing conferences and blogs on testing at Rockin’ And Testing All Over The World. When not testing, Lee is an avid follower of the UK rock band, Status Quo; hence his Twitter handle @therockertester.

I’ve been in the craft of testing for 24 years, mostly in leadership roles, and feel as passionate about testing now, as I did in my first year. I’ve had many roles, from testing the world’s first touchscreen smartphone, to heading up Sony PlayStation European Test Operations, to Head of test for a clinical software firm. I’ve currently made the jump across to Engineering Manager and a company called cinch I’m a huge advocate of self-development, and sharing your learnings from that self-development.
