I work as a Senior Tester at SAS, having worked for various organisations before that for a test consultancy and later fixed term contracting. I've been doing testing since 2006, and learned a number of things along the way.

I'm Vice President of the Association for Software Testing, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the advancement of the testing craft. Over the years I've had many roles including developer, technical author, technical support, and manager, but the combination of intellectual, practical, and social challenges in testing are what really excite me. Petros Plakogiannis lives in Greece. He has graduated from the University of Piraeus and the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. He has been working professionally as a software tester since 2009, with a strong focus on automated testing using various tools like QTP, Selenium, Protractor, Cypress, etc. He also has significant experience in white box testing, application testing (desktop, web, and mobile), and security testing. He travels a lot and supports customers onsite by providing information regarding automation testing. He is also a Cypress Ambassador and the main organizer of the Ministry of Testing Athens meetups, and he is very active in the testing community
