Hi,

I'm always inspired by the many courageous people who put themselves forward to speak at a conference. The process can be overwhelming! There's something amazing about someone who is open to sharing their story and experience. And if it inspires just one person in the audience it could send such a person on a career and personal adventure.

The Ministry of Testing community is here to help and support via The Big Call for Papers. And we know how much the community can help, just take a look at these tips for public speaking

Have a great day!

What's New With Ministry of Testing?

Have you heard? We have an open call for papers for seven different TestBashes! And in honour of this massive opportunity to speak at one (or more) of our TestBash events, we’re running a six-week event called The Big Call For Papers. We want everyone to have the best chance to speak at our upcoming TestBashes. Read on to see what's happening over the coming weeks and how you might get involved. Look out for the Slack Ask Me Anything and 99 Second Pitches. 👀

🎉 We've released the lineup for the first TestBash of the year, TestBash Leadership! This TestBash will be hosted by four of our awesome hosts: Vernon Richards, Gwen Diagram, Laveena Ramchandani and Jenna Charlton. Find out who's speaking. 🗣

The community had a good old chat about public speaking via a Twitter Space. Keen to start or continue your public speaking journey? Listen to the tips.

Jesper is all set to help you create test strategies based on business needs on Wednesday 23rd February. Describe your delivery context, draw your system landscape and reflect on the business needs and goals.

Joining a community like Ministry of Testing can feel overwhelming. What should you do? Who could you meet? Where should you hang out? Join the inaugural Welcome to the Ministry of Testing Community interactive session on March 2nd.

🤔 Can you help? There are people on The Club who could do with your help. Feel free to see what questions you could answer. Replying to someone who posted a day, week, month or even a year plus goes a long way. Plus, review an abstract and give back to the community.
