Hi there. I'm Rosie Sherry, and I'm your MoTaverse Weekly host.
And so MoTaCon Festival happened!
We leaned into a week long series of events, it worked, and I've definitely been well fed as a result of it! I felt a real shift this year. Not shifting left or right. I'm not sure what I'd call it right now, but maybe it's a shift towards the MoTaverse and Community as a Service.
We leaned into our platform. 500+ moments were shared last week. And they're still coming in. I'm not one to care about vanity engagement metrics, the moments mean much more. It was only after MoTaCon had happened that I realised I hadn't checked social, there simply was no need. It was all happening in the MoTaverse.
It's been a few years re-building for us as we move to creating infrastructure to enable us to support you all better. And perhaps that is what his shift is. People + Platform. In a fragmented and overly AI world, I feel this is what we need more than ever.
The best of all, it's happening. And the more we do it, the more content I personally feel calling it Community as a Service.
🔥 MoTaCon 2027 registration is now open. Let's go.
