Head of Engineering

Gwen Diagram is a technology professional from Leeds who specialises in testing.  She is an avid automation evangelist with a focus on testing complemented by repeatable build processes with monitoring. She has had varied roles throughout her career including Scrum Master at a Start Up, Engineering Manager at a bank and DevOps kid at a large Financial Services organisation. She is currently the Head of Engineering at Glean in Leeds.

As a strong believer in making the tech industry as open and punk as possible, she co-organises a twice yearly free day long testing conference called the Leeds Testing Atelier.  She speaks regularly at local meet-up groups, Agile Yorkshire and Leeds DevOps, duels with creative types at events like the Tech Off, speaks internationally at conferences such as Nordic Testing Days in Tallinn and was the closing keynote at Agile on the Beach in Falmouth, UK in 2018.

Outside of work, you will usually find her hanging around a Natural History Museum somewhere in the world marvelling at how incredibly excellent dinosaurs are, feeding pigeons or ducks or obsessing over transport.

Learning Consultant & CEO
Hi - I am Vera and I am a learning consultant and CEO at QualityMinds. I try to improve the learning process, especially for testers, for a couple of years now. Therefore I take a closer look on how people learn and what kind of, scientifically proven, methods would help them with their individual learning. To get a better understanding of my learners, I worked as a tester, product owner and Scrum Master in different projects.
I’m Fiona Charles, owner and principal consultant at Quality Intelligence, Inc., a small independent business offering consulting services in software testing and test management. I formed the company early in 2007, after nearly 13 years working for IT services companies as a consultant and test manager on client projects.
Gitte Klitgaard
Engineering Manager
Amy Phillips is an experienced Engineering Manager with a love of Continuous Delivery. She enjoys helping teams to do awesome things. Previously Amy spent over 10 years as a software tester for a variety of companies including The Guardian and Yahoo! Starting out it was all about Master Test Plans and Requirements Traceability Matrices. Agile brought user stories, sprints, and cross functional teams. Finally Continuous Delivery blew away any belief that testing should exist separately from development.
