Your Weekly Testing News - Issue 429

The power of sharing a career-related challenge. Plus more ways to get involved with the testing community, several business posts and lots of testing events. Read it all in this week's newsletter.

It's all happening!

30 Days of Career Growth continues to amaze the testing community. The amount of knowledge sharing is incredible. It was lovely to check in with the community at the end of last week during a This Week in Testing voice-only chat. They had a lot to share about how the community has helped their career. Look out for some notes coming soon.

In the meantime, check out day 22 and day 27. Join a Testing Ask Me Anything on Getting Hired with Erin Donnelly and Learning To Lead Before Becoming a Leader with Lewis Prescott. They are both free to attend.

📑 Have a read of this new article from Ioan Solderea: Using Personal Data In Test Safely: How To Comply With the GDPR. GDPR and test data can be a tricky combination. Ioan shares how to ensure test data is GDPR compliant and still useful.

Are you still deciding if you're going to join the testing community at TestBash UK 2023? Diana shares more reasons to attend in this helpful update: Learn your own way. 🇬🇧

One more thing, there's still time to put yourself forward to be part of TestBash Autumn. You could share a short video on a testing topic, record a video highlighting a single feature of a tool you enjoy using or be part of an Ask Me Anything or Discussion. Ministry of Testing pay you for your contributions or you can donate to the wonderful scholarship fund.
